At Voice, we are always looking to the courage and achievements of women for inspiration—with this in mind, we are inaugurating a new feature on our website called Women We Love. Periodically, we will focus on a woman who has done something remarkable, and we hope that by sharing their stories, others will be motivated to do something extraordinary themselves.

The first Woman We Love we present is Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts; by now, most have heard about Roberts’ breast cancer diagnosis, which she received after discovering a lump after a self-exam. Roberts’ choice to share her diagnosis to the world is a generous one, and countless women will become more conscious of their health because of her decision to make her struggle public. For this, we salute Robin Roberts, and hope you will, too.
